Not very sturdy
I bought these primarily because they are made in Japan and not China. The two pairs I bought started to fall apart less than a year after purchase. They were still under Varvatos' warranty and the Varvatos customer service was not very helpful - it took several emails back and forth and some arm twisting to get replacement pads. The pads they sent did not fit these readers. Overall these glasses look nice and the lenses are clear but I would not buy Varvatos brand glasses again due to the breakage and awful customer service.
