Great Retro Look for a low price

I love the Soul Man progressive no line readers! Got tired of looking over the rims of my readers when I wanted to see at any distance and got tired of taking the glasses off and on. I love the retro design of the frames. I ordered the average size and they are a perfect fit. I already have a more expensive pair of no line sun readers that I bought last but I like the Soul Man style so much I have just completed an order for the same in the sun reader. I would recommend.

    Good Glasses

I have seen negative reviews here, but no-line bifocals take some getting used-to. I like them for driving especially because I can see the speedometer and gauges without obscuring my vision of the road. I have these in sunglasses also. There great for just wearing around too, because I never have to look for my glasses when I need them. They're already on my face. They get lots of compliments also. A cute young lady recently told me I looked like Clark Kent! I think I'll get a few more pair!

    Solid glasses with some issues.

Build: there is a lot of plastic in the frames, no way I can break them, These are robust! Fit: when I put them om I found the pressure behind my ears to be to high. They will probably settle, but I filed of a bit in the hinge area were the arms land. Now they were better. Optics: There should be a warning that in no-line glasses the stated strength is at the bottom of the glass. I end up looking too much down. After having used them a while I wish I had specified more than my strength (+1) by + 0.25 to 0,5 so my natural line of sight has the right magnification.

    Not for me

I have been using half-readers for years at a 1.25 magnification, and these were the same strength, yet I could not see anything in focus at any distance, in any area of my field of vision. No clue as to why these didn't work for me, but they didn't. Great frames, great value, but alas I had to send them back.

    Very Satisfied

Love the glasses. Though they are called Soul Man, I am a woman and get compliments every time I wear them. I have seen similar Italina frames for three times the price, but these are every bit the qaulity. Great customer service. I will definately order from here again!!
