    Folding mechanism has a flaw

Both lenses were scratched upon arrival by the metal hinges on each arm of the glasses. One would need to be extremely careful folding these glasses or caring for them inside the case to avoid compressing them to further scratch the lenses. understood and provided me with free return shipment and a refund. Disappointed with the reality of the design.
    Staff Response:

After reading your review we closely examined this model to check your concerns. Folding glasses can be problematic if either poorly designed or folded incorrectly. Since this is a new model from Persol, it is plausible that we folded it improperly after adding the lenses. The temples on this model are designed to fold inward. Folding them to the outside definitely could result in scratches. Our apology for our apparent mistake.
