    OK

Over all I'm pretty happy with the glasses. I just had my second cataract done and didn't need distance correction any more. I've used progressive glasses for years and found that having to carry around a pair of readers that I had to take off for distance was a pain. Having a pair that I can simply wear all the time is much easier. On the other hand, I am disappointed in the photochromic option. These really don't get very dark even in full sun and are completely ineffective while driving. If they worked better as sunglasses, I would rate them more favorably.
    Staff Response:

Yes, Photochromic lenses do have some limitations. They darken when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. These lenses are particularly effective in outdoor settings, where they can easily adjust to varying light conditions. However, it's important to note that car windshields are equipped with UV-blocking technology, which prevents the lenses from darkening as much as they would in other situations. Nevertheless, photochromic lenses still offer a level of protection against harsh sunlight and are especially beneficial for individuals who frequently move between indoor and outdoor environments.
