I bought these glasses as they were advertised as a replacement for a Sergio XL, my preferred style. In less than 30 days the hinge broken rendering them useless. The glasses I prefer do not have a hinge rather use bends in the frame to form a hinge and thus do not break.
Sorry for this. Sergio is normally quite sturdy. We have reached out privately to offer a full refund or exchange.
I have had two pairs of these. Both had the tiny screws that hold the hinges together come out in less than a year. And once they come out they are gone as they are so small.
Wide enough and comfortable to wear all day. This is my 4th pair of Sergio XL's.
A bit large but a good fit all around and great vision and clarity. I purchased the same onee but smaller and computer glasses for work and again same quality and perfect fit.
LOL! I don't know why www.RG.com keeps asking me to review this fine reading glasses! Hell, I've bought more than $2,100 worth of them by now! And I'll keep buying them as they are destroyed in the line-of-duty. I'm an RN, after all. And these glasses are exposed to some hairy stuff!
Normal reading glasses don't work for me due to the fact I have a large head. These are perfect for me. Sturdy too. Very happy.
I've purchased nearly $2,000 worth of these readers over the past several years. I just keep buying them as I see them broken. I think that says it all.
