Hinge is terrible quality
I ordered these on 09/03/2024 and today is 10/04/2024. The hinge just broke on the left side from normal use. For no reason at all it just separated while I was watching TV. I thought the glasses were great with good lenses (no glare consistent vision quality) but as I am outside the 30 days return period I feel like I just threw 79$ down the drain.If the hinge would not have broken, I would say these are a 4.5 star pair of glasses, but with this quality level I can't recommend them.

Strength no longer printed on frame
I\\\\\\\'ve been ordering fixed Sergio readers for years. Recently, they stopped printing the power number on the frame. Now, if you have multiple pairs with multiple strengths, it will be very easy to lose track of which glasses are which strength. Very disappointing considering the cost of these glasses.
Staff Response:All Sergio XL now include individualy custom fitted lenses from our in-house optical lab here in Dallas. Each are shipped with a vinyl lens power sticker. Frames of higher prescription quality, like Sergio, are first received by us with a clear demo- lenses similar to what you see at an ptical store. We no longer permanently mark them. Lens options include as many as 21 varieties of lenses per the customers selection, such as single vision full, bifocal, progressive, computer, and reading sunglasses, with or without enhancements for non-glare or blue light filtering. With frames of this quality, customers frequently request we replace or upgrade the lens power on frames over the frames lifetime. Hinge screw fall out
I have had two pairs of these. Both had the tiny screws that hold the hinges together come out in less than a year. And once they come out they are gone as they are so small.

LOL! I don't know why www.RG.com keeps asking me to review this fine reading glasses! Hell, I've bought more than $2,100 worth of them by now! And I'll keep buying them as they are destroyed in the line-of-duty. I'm an RN, after all. And these glasses are exposed to some hairy stuff!

Sturdily made and big enough
I bought these for my husband who has an Easter Island moai-sized head. They just fit. But they fit decently enough and feel to me like they're made fairly sturdily. After I saw that the first pair fit better than any others we've ever bought, I bought him a second for back up or to leave at work. He was really appreciative, and I like seeing glasses on him that don't perch on his nose like a sparrow on a twig.
