- lead from lead-based paints,
- crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
- arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
Your risk from exposure to these chemicals varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure, work in a well-ventilated area and with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
Lead Crystal Glasses
Lead levels in the crystal glasses sold in our Kitchen & Housewares Store comply with FDA standards. California requires the following separate notice:

Coffee and Some Roasted Nuts, Baked Goods and Snack Foods

Nice and Edgy but Heavy
I like the edgy design, and the reasonable price. It is a somewhat heavy pair of reading glasses, and keep sliding down my nose despite having adjusted the temples. I use it when I need to quickly read a lable or an email or something like that, but not comfortable for a long reading session.
