Best of the Clic line, IMO

I have a big head, I guess though I use a medium motorcycle helmet. I've had three types of the clic glasses: Standard, Wide, and Tube. The standard do not fit side-to-side nor front to back. They "fit" like OJ's glove - I can use them but my head feels squeezed. The "wide" were just standard frames with a bent temple to make them wider. That made them very fragile, and still not able to meet my front-to-back measurements. The Tube, however, solves all the problems of width (even though they are classified as "regular", and front to back with lots of extra adjustability, plys they are not restricting. I put glasses through hell, and though the lenses become scratched beyond usability, the tube frames are still like new, while the other Clics were broken long ago. The band is more comfortable than the rigid back bands by far. The only complaint is that the adjusters along the temples take a bit if getting used to, as they're small, and with the range of adjustment (a good thing) they are occasionally hard to find along the track. Another note: These can't be put on with one hand if the magnet catch is not closed - too flexible.I'm ordering my third Clic Tube today.

    soft back clics

Don't like them as much as the regular ones because once unclicked they kind of hang down in the front and are tedious to rejoin. I also seem to have them tighter to my eyes in order to stay on top of my ears which makes them fog up easier while working on hot equipment or in humid conditions.

    Beyond Happy

These are the best fitting frames for me. All others were either too big or too small. Highly recommend getting the computer style progressive lenses. They are a far better option than the single vision or even the bifocals, since we spend most of the time in front of our screens anyway.
