How do computer
lenses work?

A European inspired design twist on the traditional masculine shape that features modernized angles and lighter weight silhouette, all without trade off in sturdiness. Includes micro-size spring comfort temples.

Anti-Reflective Computer Lenses

Computer Lenses, sometimes referred to as Office or Occupational Lenses, make it easy for your eyes to move back and forth between near vision tasks like computer work and reading printed material.

Computer lenses are a specialty type of progressive lens designed for today's world. Like any progressive lenses, they eliminate the need for multiple pairs of glasses. But more important, they give your eyes the focal length they need as they need it, greatly reducing eye strain.

1. Select your normal reading magnification power and the lens will do the rest. The upper portion of these lenses allow for intermediate range viewing, perfect for computer, not to mention tasks like, cooking, sewing, following sheet music, drafting or reading blueprints, and many more uses.

2. As you lower your focus to the bottom portion of the lens, the lens acts like any reading lens, making it easy to read cellphone screens, pill bottles, newspapers, or the latest best sellers. The included high quality Anti-Reflective Coating reduces eye strain even more, allowing you to enjoy your work and hobbies.

    Works perfectly

Just what I wanted. I can work on my computer (with multiple monitors) and still read/write notes and use my phone closer up.

    Computer glasses.

These glasses work as described. They would work better for me if the higher magnification area at the bottom was smaller and started lower on the lease. As it is, I have to bend my head down slightly to assure that I am looking through the top (arm's length distance) section for computer work or music.

    Solves a problem

Just received my computer glasses. Lightning fast delivery. Very pleased with looks and function. Solves the problem of switching individual glasses back and forth from reading to computering. Wish they came in 2.75 power. Skips from 2.50 to 3.00. Ordered 2.50 and they work but 2.75 would be a little better. Also wish they made Tri-Focal version with a clear (no magnification) section so I could just wear one pair of glasses all the time and cover ALL functions. Highly recommend this company.

    Staff Response:

Progressive lenses (variable focus) do require a degree of adaptation.Normally just a few days to be fully comfortable. If for any reason you find they are just not going to work, we will be happy to offer a refund or exchange.

    Bought Three - Kept These

I am a 50-yr old college student who spends a lot of time reading textbooks while also working on the computer. I was tired of switching back and forth between glasses. Even then, my eyes would end up out of focus after a couple hours. I bought three pairs of progressive readers, with hesitation because I had heard that the progressives "take time to get used to." Yeah, like a fish being thrown in a lake! These Sergio CL's are the most inexpensive of the three pairs of progressive computer readers I bought, and they are by far the most comfortable and useful. The spring action arms are just right. The glasses never fall off, and the pressure on my head is not too tight to give me a headache. The progressive magnification is not noticeable at all, and yet, whatever task I am doing, the magnification is just right. The section selected for the higher reading magnification is spot on. The frames are sturdy and the adjustable nose pieces are very comfortable. For the price of these glasses, I confidently just ordered my second pair. The case that comes with them is not as nice as the $200 pair, but for $10, you can buy a wonderful case, even nicer than the case that came with the $200 pair. It am very satisfied.
