How do progressive
lenses work?

Read the video transcript

“Buy American” sounds good and it feels good. We were surprised and delighted to discover an eyewear manufacturer still in operation in the US.

The Shuron collection of frames has been around for more than 140 years. With the retro looks so popular today, you’ll love being able to own an authentic original. That’s right. Shuron never stopped manufacturing these classic frames that are today’s hottest fashion trend.

Worn by so many famous people from Malcolm X to Matt Damon to Tom Hanks in “Catch Me if You Can,” these frame styles were originally made years ago. And nothing’s really changed.

Popular retro frames made for popular American taste manufactured right here in the good old USA. Gotta love it.

    Progressive reader sunglasses

These are my 3rd pair of the same frame (different color this time) and they really are perfect. Nothing but compliments on the whole process from ordering to receipt.

    Second pair

This is my second pair as the first pair retired after 10+ years of use.

    Shuron Quality

I own (4) pairs of Shuron's in various configurations; and all are timeless in build quality and style. Most recently, I purchased these (in fade) w/ bifocals. And at the same time, bought the Crystal in 'no-line'. I gotta say, I like the bifocal better for driving; there's just a simplicity with the up close and distance option. The no line is a little more tricky in use. Not as good for driving in my opinion. Still, 5-star quality; just prefer the bifocal for my application.

    Too dark

Good quality frames but lenses are too dark, even for sunglasses. One doesn't need progressive lenses because you can't read anything unless in direct sunlight.

    Needed adjustment

Good quality, a bit pricey- worth it to be made in US. Went to my optician for some fine tuning (to be expected) and they could not believe they were US made!

    Stylish readers

I love the design. My 16 year old daughter thought they were very cool. They polish nicely. Just wish they had spring hinges

    Great looking good function

Everyone loves this glasses. I would give them 5 stars if they were glass lenses.

    Post LASIK

Works well blocking sun and comfortable for reading with discrete no line magnification.
