I love RayBans, but not these. First off, the progressive lenses are after-market replacements, and I dont like them. Distance and peripheral viewing is almond impossible: the proper focal areas are too small and my eyes cannot adjust to all the pitching and rolling. Progressive lenses must be of the very highest quality and I dont think these are. Ill keep them for reading in the sun- theyre pretty good for that- but as for driving or walking? Fuggetaboutit.
What you are experiencing is likely not a problem with lens quality but rather an issue with the alignment of the lenses concerning your Pupillary Distance (PD). While our lenses are fitted with an average PD that works for most customers, individuals can fall out of that compatabiltiy. Do you have an eyeglass prescription from an eye doctor that you can share with us? This prescription may include your exact PD and other visual requirements, which we can use to adjust your lens settings or recommend a different lens for better functionality. If you don’t have a recent prescription, we can guide you on how to measure your PD at home or recommend that you visit an optician for a precise measurement. Here’s how you can measure it yourself or with someone else's help: 1. Stand about 8 inches (20 cm) away from a mirror or your partner (if using a partner, ensure you're at eye level). 2. Hold a ruler against your brow. 3. Close your right eye and align the zero mark on the ruler with your left pupil. 4. Open your right eye and close your left eye, then read the millimeter mark directly above your right pupil. Once we have your PD, we can create a custom pair of lenses specifically tailored for you for a small custom lab fee.
Perfect all day readers
Good quality
My first pair of progressives and it takes getting used to. Magnification should have been +2.00 but my mistake ordering +2.25You will definitely need another pair of regular reading glasses for indoors or at night, at least I do.Quality is great, but then again for the price, it should be and is expected.
Top quality, perfect replacement for my lost sunglasses
I recently had cataract surgery and interoccular lens implants. Because the lenses are fixed focus, I needed a little magnification for reading and close up work, My new Rayban Wayfarers with no line bifocals are just perfect. Im stylin and seeing!
Perfect reading and driving sunglasses! I wore for both driving and beach reading and they worked perfectly.
Best purchase in a long time. Just what I needed. Excellent quality and the ability to have readers built in is a game changer. Highly recommend polarized progressive lenses. Be patient if new to progressive. Takes time to adjust but once you do theyre amazing
Very fast service, great quality product.
