Though the name of the frame includes the word "Executive," the photo shows "D-Segment" bifocal lenses (also called "Flat-Top" or "Straight-Top). A true Executive Bifocal has a line all the way across the lens and is also called a "Franklin" bifocal.
Sorry for the confusion. You are correct on all points about bifocal types. We can see how the actual frame name, "Executive," could create confusion. That name is from Clic, the manufacturer. We have reached out privately to offer options.
I'm really enjoying not having to hunt around anymore for where I laid down my glasses. Great quality!
I sadly will give on 2 stars. I like the purchase slightly but feel that they only serve about 1/3 of the vision field with the bottom 1/3 for reading which I use mainly on my desktop computer. This requires me to bend my head up to read my desktop computer. I would have preferred if the bottom 50% were for reading.
Very convenient and easy to use
Great reading glasses
only the bifocal part is 3.25. the top is clear; I wanted the top to be a magnifying lens. too cumbersome to use
Our "CL" Computer Lens may be closer to what you are looking for, The bottom power matches your reading magnification. The upper distance lens is 60% of the bottom strength. Ideal for the desk work and the computer, cooking, or playing an instrument. task.
these are really great just wish there was more choice of frams.
I recomend this product
These glasses are exceptionally durable and convenient for the construction field. Easy on and off when not needed.
Overall I like the clic executive bifocals. They work well with two drawbacks: 1. Not good for reading of a computer monitor. Because hte reading glass is at the bottom of the frame, it forces me to tilt my head back. 2. The magnet occasionally pops open when the neck is hyper-extended (tilted back) when reading of a computer monitor.
