lenses work?

Read the video transcript

The Classic from CliC Eyewear features an oval shape with the famous magnetic closure on the bridge that “CliCs” into place. The continuous temples form a wrap-around neck band, so when you want to take them off, simply separate the eye pieces and let them hang around your neck. CliC and go!

TECHNOLOGY

CliC reading glasses have a unique patented magnetic bridge closure that incorporates a “rare earth magnet,” the most powerful magnet on earth. Your CliC readers will stay in place, just the way you want them.

Only carried at ReadingGlasses.com, computer style progressive lenses feature a mid-range portion in the upper lens that is 60% of the strength of the lower full reading power. They deliver this without a visible line in sight. This allows reading accommodation at different close up distances, such as mid-range for a computer monitor and closer handheld distance for reading a book.

Anti-Reflective Computer Lenses

Computer Lenses, sometimes referred to as Office or Occupational Lenses, make it easy for your eyes to move back and forth between near vision tasks like computer work and reading printed material.

Computer lenses are a specialty type of progressive lens designed for today's world. Like any progressive lenses, they eliminate the need for multiple pairs of glasses. But more important, they give your eyes the focal length they need as they need it, greatly reducing eye strain.

1. Select your normal reading magnification power and the lens will do the rest. The upper portion of these lenses allow for intermediate range viewing, perfect for computer, not to mention tasks like, cooking, sewing, following sheet music, drafting or reading blueprints, and many more uses.

2. As you lower your focus to the bottom portion of the lens, the lens acts like any reading lens, making it easy to read cellphone screens, pill bottles, newspapers, or the latest best sellers. The included high quality Anti-Reflective Coating reduces eye strain even more, allowing you to enjoy your work and hobbies.

    Neck band isn't flexible

The wraparound neck band isn't soft and flexible like I thought it would be, so it's not really comfortable when hanging behind the neck unless you wear collared clothes. Moreover, with the temples shortened, the stiff neck band was still too long and my hair ended up pushing down on the band, forcing the actual glasses to push up and off the nose. It's unfortunate because the actual glasses portion fit well.

    good for desk work

In my job I repeatedly look down at documents on my physical desk top (closer to my eyes) and then look up at the computer screen (farther away). These glasses work great keeping everything sharp.

    Prescription without Prescription

Happy with my choice of +2.50 max. I can wear while driving and read signs much better.

    Really like them, but....

The fit is good and the progressive feature is very nice. My only issue is that I ordered the "blue" filter, then tested them with the blue filter test online. It seems the blue filter doesn\'t have any effect at all. I emailed the vendor and asked them about it, but got no response.

    Great in a pinch

These reading glasses are great. I have a hard time reading labels while shopping, reading menus in restaurants, etc but I hate pulling out my glasses from my purse all of the time and I don't like wearing glasses all day long. These are perfect since the CliCs are convenient without looking like a librarian or like my 88 year old mother with her granny chain.
